Document-Diary Chains
If you are familiar with
the Collection-Master Paperless File, then you'll agree
that unlimited notes and Diary events in the debtor file
are invaluable to the person working or tracking a case.
Internal data files (forwarder,
clerk, etc) have identical functionality.
There is no
limit to the number of individual "Document-Diary"
chains that can be defined, and there is no limit to the
length of any one chain. This allows for
a comfortable degree of automation for total workflow
control.
Placing
Diary Codes in the Document Management, along with
putting control data in the Diary Code setup, allows for
the creation of "paths" of events that claims follow
automatically. |
|
Example:
Assume that the first document sent on
any new claim is a document called "DEMAND01", sent to
the debtor. If the first Diary Code (#001) is "New
claim...first letter sent", and this Diary Code (#001)
is entered in the Document Management function under
"DEMAND01", when any new claim is opened and the
"DEMAND01" letter is sent.
A Diary entry of "001 New claim...first letter sent"
will be entered five days after the document is sent.
Five days from the entry of the new claim, the system
prints a daily Diary List, sorted by Diary Code.
It will AUTOMATICALLY print the DEMAND02 letter.
This chain of events can go on indefinitely.
