Commercial Legal Software - Computer Programmer
Commercial Legal Software, Inc., author of Collection-Master, is currently looking for an experienced computer programmer to join its product development team. Although knowledge of the primary programming environment that we use (Business Rules!) is not necessary, a strong programming background and willingness to learn are required.

 

Programmers at CLS work in an extremely dynamic environment. With frequently changing customer requirements, our programmers engage in product development, custom programming, and application testing. Other responsibilities may include the compiling and writing of manuals and other technical documentation. Our programmers work closely with the VP of R&D and VP of Application Development to enhance our product offerings. A successful candidate will be self motivated and hard working. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement and test applications

  • Maintain and enhance code for core products

  • Organize functions and libraries, and consolidate code

  • Enhance in-house support system

  • Conduct customer data conversions

  • Support customers to resolve new business problems

  • Support the enhancement of the CLS website

Requirements:

  • Extensive programming experience in at least one programming language - knowledge of the Business Rules! environment is a plus

  • A strong ability to conceptualize problems and to apply creative software solutions

  • Outstanding ability to learn effectively and efficiently

  • Critical thinking skills and data manipulation proficiency

  • Ability to follow guidelines, to prioritize projects and to work in a dynamic environment

  • Superior customer service skills

Commercial Legal Software – Technical Support Specialist
Commercial Legal Software, Inc., author of Collection-Master, is currently looking for an experienced support specialist to join its technical support team. Outstanding computer aptitude is necessary and knowledge of the collections industry is highly desirable.

 

Support specialists at CLS work in an extremely dynamic environment. With frequently changing customer requirements, our support specialists engage in telephone technical support, onsite and telephone customer training, and software testing. Other responsibilities may include reviewing and writing of manuals and other technical documentation. Support specialists work closely with the support manager to ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service.

 

A successful candidate will be self motivated and hard working. Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly and to work independently and as part of a team are also required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Troubleshoot software technical difficulties via the telephone and email
• Thoroughly document all support incidents
• Provide training to enhance customers’ use of the software
• Provide tailored technical advice to conform with customers’ workflow, industry standards, and legal guidelines
• Outline, test, and review technical help manuals
• Test existing and new programming

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service disposition
• A superior ability to conceptualize problems and to apply creative solutions
• Excellent aptitude for computer software
• 1-3 years of training experience
• Outstanding ability to learn effectively and efficiently
• Critical thinking skills and data manipulation proficiency
• Desirable software proficiency:

o Windows
o WordPerfect
o Microsoft Office
